Pratt Company Commissary, 1916

Coal miners and other employees stand in front of the commissary in the company town of the Pratt Coal and Coke Company's Pratt City coal mine outside Birmingham. The company was formed in 1878 by industrialists Truman Aldrich, Henry DeBardeleben, and James Sloss.
