Employees Hospital
Employees Hospital opened in
Fairfield
,
Jefferson County
, in 1919. It was built by the
Tennessee Coal, Iron, and Railroad Company
to serve its employees and was supervised by Alabama-born physician
Lloyd Noland
. The hospital was renamed for Noland in 1950. The building was demolished in 2009.
