Ore Crusher at Ruffner Mountain Nature Center

This iron ore crusher in the forest at Ruffner Mountain Nature Center is a reminder of the preserve's past as a mining center. These crushers were used to break mined iron ore into smaller pieces for ease of processing in furnaces.
