Viola Gregg Liuzzo

Civil rights activist Viola Liuzzo was killed in an attack by Ku Klux Klan members during the Selma to Montgomery March in March 1965. A white woman from Detroit, she had seen Dr. Martin Luther King on television and travelled south to help in the civil rights struggle.
